PUBLICATIONS AREA
The production of national guidelines has been an important role
for the Association over many years. In recent years it has
developed its symptomatic guidelines into Surgical Guidelines for
the Management of Breast Cancer to ensure that treatment standards
are the same regardless of whether patients were diagnosed through
the NHS Breast Screening Programme or symptomatically.
In recent years it has also produced a Yearbook to update its
members on the work of the Association, its audits and other areas
of interest.
A newsletter is produced quarterly to update the
membership.
